No Earthly Spider

A gardener's lapse of attention caused a stray pebble to get caught up in a weed trimmer and fling itself against the sliding glass door which leads out from my studio, with the following interesting result:

The entire outer pane of the double-paned door is webbed with fine cracks, looking just like the work of an industrious spider.
