First of all a big thank you to Gail for the advice on making book paper. I have my work cut out for me. Some fabrics will not brook shortcuts.
Meanwhile, here is a little non-adhesive book. This incredible collection of handmade paper was a gift from Sandra, and I cut it up into 2" x 4" pieces and made another 2" cube book. The binding was sewn around a scrap of kumihimo cord, which then became the wrapper band. First a view of the spine sewing.
The pages want to fan out when the book is untied.
