The crepe-and-plain samples are looking good after wet finishing. Here's a scan of the nicest one so far. The contrast between crepe and plain weave is clear, but there's not much differential of shrinkage; I was expecting more.
The straight threading lends itself to doubleweave hems, which is a finish I enjoy.
