The sun has finally come out for real, although it's still cold here (relatively). The very front window in my studio, facing east, is actually in the bathroom/photo studio. Yes, I said bathroom/photo studio. When we renovated the basement, the bathroom wound up being so huge that there was room for a permanent photography setup for finished weaving at the far end of it. I keep a neutral gray backdrop in place, and the two flood lamps with their umbrella diffusers are always ready to go. When the morning sun comes in the front window, the umbrellas take on a life of their own, as you can see here.
You can also barely see (pun intended) my wicker female dummy prop on the lower left. For some reason her neck is draped with a rubber snake. The snake was purchased many years ago to put in the carport in order to discourage the birds who were nesting there and leaving their mementos on the cars. That's another story for another day. Why the snake wound up in my bathroom/photo studio is a mystery.
