A green shawl that had been hiding in a carton, unloved and unwanted, came to light. The color was just as bad as I had remembered, a sickly, yellowish pea-green. I set myself a challenge of recycling it into some sort of wearable, and forcing the color to work.
Out came my box of off-cuts, samples, and other odds & ends. I started piecing them onto a muslin base. The green was looking a little better with some company. All the fabrics are handwoven dobbies or jacquards.
