I order my paper 25 sheets at a time for economy's sake. It arrives rolled around a cardboard core. I've learned from sad experience that if I leave it rolled up too long, it's very difficult to get the curl out. But I don't have the storage space to keep the 22x30" sheets flat. That is why, when a paper order arrives, it's all hands on deck to tear it down & fold it into signatures. That's what I did Saturday morning.
Tearing down paper is a very repetitive and meditative activity, and it helps to have some good music available. When the job is done, there is a lovely stack of book blocks all ready for binding!
The new stack is on the left. They folded down to 5x7".
