Time to tackle a new warp. Yesterday I got out my collection of dark-toned 20/2 cottons to make a mixed warp for the TC-1. I have a good supply of these dark colors, and I think the mixture will be a little livelier than a solid black warp, which is what I had originally planned.
Somehow I got sidetracked when I checked on a piece of Japanese unryu paper I had glued to Tyvek the day before. The paper was dry, and I just had to try some machine stitching on it. One thing led to another…
The back covers are kind of nice, too.
And just to prove that I really did have weaving on my mind, here's a closeup of the machine stitching. Click to enlarge.
