The Serendipity of the Peach

On the way home from Washington, I snapped this from the car window as we passed the famous Gaffney peach, on Intersate 85 east of Spartanburg:

Don't you just love it when that happens :-)

Click this last one to enlarge; it's a really interesting structure. I haven't quite figured it out yet, but I salute the designer, whoever she is.
