Scary Things

Several things are giving me a headache this week. First of all is the Adobe Creative Cloud. Grumble grumble. I hate change.

Then there is this tree that fell, just down the street.

We had had several days of nonstop hard rain, and this very large oak tree just…fell! Miraculously it missed both the adjacent house and the power lines. Staring into the mouth of a monster:

What is worrisome is that we have two oak trees of a similar age right next to our house. So far they remain upright.

Fortunately there are things to calm the spirit. Weaving on my inkle loom, for example.
