I like using tree images for my woven book covers. The trees I showed you here are finding their way to the loom. I've given the lefthand tree a quarter turn and fiddled with the image in Photoshop.
The colors are placeholders for weave structures, which will be lampas in this case. My warp is black. The trunks and branches will be ground weave, the leaves will be the first pattern weave, and the background will be another pattern weave. The orange represents selvedges.
I'll be using handspun for one of the pattern weaves, and I spun up a few ounces of gray Corriedale as singles; here it is drying on the niddy-noddy after a short session in the bathtub.

I know that's not very sexy, but I just love taking yarn pictures.
I may use another handspun as the second pattern yarn, but the idea is still percolating.
