Gestures

In idle moments I like to draw on my iPad (current favorite app is Paper by 53). The fountain pen tool makes nice juicy thick & thin lines, almost like an analog pen.

I emailed this one to myself, did the Photoshop thing with it & started weaving the file this morning on the TC-1.

The weave structure is lampas with a single pattern weft of handspun wool/silk. Warp and ground weft are 20/2 black cotton.

Gestures3

High tech & low tech, a perfect combination of tools appropriate to the job at hand. Very entertaining to design and weave. This one will eventually wind up as a journal cover.
