Yesterday morning it was so cold that I almost didn't weave, as I didn't want to venture outside to turn on the air compressor, but good sense prevailed and I got to work. The salamanders lampas piece was cut off and I took a quick & dirty photo on the studio floor.
In the afternoon, at OLLI, my nimble students put on their second tablet warps. They are quickly catching on to circular warping. Here Carol, Penny & Kaye are watching closely as Sandy warps her loom.
Midway through the afternoon we were startled to look out the windows and see snow falling. We all left class a little early in order to get home before the crazies got on the road. Snow in SC is usually not much of an issue, but the drivers are another matter…
