Most of my friends are looking for some antidotes to dark emotions this week. Maybe you are the same. I here offer some of my choices:
This fantastic bloom from a loved one's front yard…
Rosemary's cookies from Wednesday's study group meeting…
My growing collection of samples of that weird 4-end block draft thingie I have been working on…
I also want to mention the hardboiled eggs we had for breakfast with shells that were easily peeled because I doused them with ice cubes immediately after they got out of the pot. Sorry, no pictures of that wonderful event.
But here is the latest warp finally on the loom, with four (FOUR) threading errors detected and corrected. Definitely worth gratitude…
And last and best of all, the yarn choice for the weft is coming out at exactly 15 ppi, just what I was aiming for…
Ance since you've read this far, here's a glamour shot of the actual weft color in play. The mysterious blocks are showing up. Yay!
Feeling better yet? I am.
Just finished reading:
Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernières, My Life in Middlemarch: a Memoir by Rebeccfa Mead, The Words Between Us by Emily Bartels.
